hmm, So This is a reposting of an older episode, and I don't appear to have the text of it handy... Anyway I'll be posting older episodes of the show coming up so I can give new listeners a chance to get them if they want, the format is a bit different though. That way I'll be able to delete to audio files off my account and give me more room for upcoming shows.
Cheers
Looks like this episode was first put out March 16th/2007 needless to say My life has changed a bit sense then, I'm not really prelistening to these shows, no time. So I'm just reposting.
It appears from the broken shownotes on my Itunes that the bulk of this episode is Nicholas Sunsdahl's music, and he and I talking.
There's a second even longer anniversary episode.
I'll post it if our bandwidth holds out.
Hope it's enjoyable.
Cheers.

Season 3 episode 1

I'd like to think Calling it a new season is a pass on not having a show for several months, I mean it works for tv shows...
Opening with Tappit Jig from angus Mackay and McGuire's Jig, not from MacKay, but a rockin tune that I thought flowed well. ooh ooh I found where I recognized McGuire's Jig, it's on Pooridge men's Planet Pooridge album, I'll try to play that track next episode. Next is one of my New Favorite Neil Dickie book tunes, Callum and the Princess written by Scott MacAulay. Followed by the long lost tune Lucy Cassidy by George MacIntyre. I mention Steve Riddle's book, check it out on amazon http://knuckledownpress.blogspot.com/2011/11/so-we-bought-farm-by-steve-riddle-now.html

Got My new zoomh2 so decided to get an episode out right away.
Have Michael Grey's Recording of Whitby runaround, a new Angus MacKay tune (well new to the show) and New Dickie tune, and the First Scots Musical Museum Song from Robert burns, guest piper preview from 2007 Brian Solum at an old drunken st. patrick's day bar. The return of the curling song if you missed it, and some throat singing (the more I listen to that particular song, the less I like it, oh well). Cheers!
